My Milwaukee portraits are a visual manifesto for a more equitable and vibrant urban future, replacing surface lots and overbuilt highways with stately architecture, rapid transit, and bustling neighborhoods. Through approximately 120 detailed panels, I envision a city where redlined environments are transformed into thriving districts of affordable housing and green infrastructure. This series serves as an invitation to look past modern urban loss and instead envision a sustainable, beautiful landscape where the community’s potential is fully realized.

My creative process is rooted in a lifelong curiosity for cities, combining extensive historical research with meticulous hand-drafting. Each piece, ranging from 8” x 11” to 24” x 36”, begins as a pencil sketch that is refined with fine-point pen to capture every architectural edge. I complete each work with warm, vibrant watercolors, bringing to life the envisioned landscapes of a happy, healthy, and bustling Milwaukee.
